About Us

The Warm Glass web site is devoted to the sharing of information about glass fusing, slumping, and related kilnforming activities.  In addition to a complete tutorial for newcomers and a bulletin board for warm glass discussion, the site has extensive information about warm glass equipment, processes, techniques, and resources.

The Warm Glass web site was designed and implemented by Brad Walker, who can be reached by e-mail or by sending a letter to the address at the bottom of each page of the website.  In addition to maintaining this site, Brad has written a book, Contemporary Warm Glass, which expands on the information contained on the site.  Click here to learn more about the Contemporary Warm Glass book.

Brad's studio, which he shares with glass artist Jody Danner Walker, is located in Clemmons, North Carolina (on I-40 just outside of Winston-Salem, NC).   In addition to offering workshops on a regular basis, the studio is also home to a retail store and art gallery devoted to kilnformed glass.  Check out Brad and Jody's studio at www.warmglass.org -- you can also purchase basic and hard-to-find fusing supplies at that link.

If you wish, you can sign up to receive notices from the Warm Glass Studio.  These go out occasionally (once or twice a month, rarely more often) and contain information about glass fusing, upcoming Warm Glass classes, and sales events at the studio.  Just fill out the form below to sign up for the newsletter.
