I love to peek in through the peep hole and watch the glass move...so organic! You are all quite an ins...

6.5 inch diam. It took me a while to get used to my kiln and to figure out fusing/slumping schedules, etc. I certainly have to thank this board for a ton of help and information!

Having a bit of a problem with cutters oil left on small pieces of glass layered on top of larger piece. Was curious how most of you pros clean your pieces prior to fusing. Thanks!

Thanks again for all your help guys. I'm pretty confident I was able to get the spot covered enough. I'll be firing up that baby this weekend and will let you know how it goes.

Kiln wash problem

I'm still new at this and learning as I go, so bare with me. I just applied kiln wash to a slumping mold (I use a wonderful blue-colored wash so I can see if I've missed any areas), and there seems to be one spot where the wash just won't take. Any suggestions?

I've done a few pieces with 2 to 3 levels of stacking using the firing instructions I found on this site. I now want to try something using more mosaic-like using one level. I was wond...

Total novice needs help!

Ok...I am a complete newbie at the fusing/slumping thing (have done stained glass for years). I have tons of questions, but will start with these: 1. I used the "wash" as intructed on the bottom of my new kiln, the shelf, and a mold. The kiln bottom seems fine, but the shelf seems very, we...
