Re: Square/Squareup Credit Card processing
Terry, You can use the knuckle buster to get the credit card imprint and then go home and manually enter the CC # into your square account. I would never do a show and require check or cash. Most people don't carry much of either. Barry I just got this off the square site:"The Square Card Read...

Re: Square/Squareup Credit Card processing

So when things are just too tangled I take my elements and slump them flat - usually on a kiln shelf under  my firing shelf - this way I don't take a separate firing just for these elements. -Terry O. Got one for laughs. Met a client that bought some of my nicer pieces. The couple asked what kind of glass I used - I said primarily Bullseye. Oh we just had dinner with the owners - we know Lani! .....and Lani said we could have a 50% discount! ....hmmmmI had to think quick - I said as soon as Lani ...

Re: PMC for glass fusing jewelry
Does the silver fuming wreck the kiln or do something that makes it not workable for glass? Thanks! Terry O. Minus's It tarnishes very quickly Big Minus for me - I was informed that you should have a dedicated kiln for PMC. Something about silver fuming. I never had any problems with it but others o...

PMC for glass fusing jewelry
I'm thinking of taking a class. Can people who have experience with PMC comment on the plus and minus of usng the pmc with glass in general? I'm not looing for detail info on the difference between the different PMC's but the overall endeavor.
Thanks!

this example will not answer your question but it might give other ideas. For my daughter preschool (age 3 - 4) I brought some of my portraits for them to see. I chickened out of working with glass at this age. But instead of working with glass I made pipe cleaner shapes and let them pick out the sh...

Once upon a time during my glass blowing days (non bullseye glass) our instructor told our class about a woman that had to declare bankruptcy because due to incompatible glass all her pieces were cracking and people were returning all of her work....... Just as an experiment I encased small ...
