Post by rodney »

i have this need, asap, for a solution to a problem,,,,,i need to cast some small "rounded sqare" pieces, in the 5/8" size range,,,,,i need to know how best to make the mold in this fiber board material that i have, i need to make sure that the bottom of the mold is flat,,,this is the board that i use for my kiln shelves,,,would it be best to rigidize first and then carve, or afterwards,,,,,,thanks,,rodney

Carve then ridigizer. Or instead of cutting, take it to a shop that does laser cutting and have it cut by a lasor. That is what I did for the magnets that I did this year.
