I'm looking for wrought iron stands to hold glass for the garden. Delphi has them. $35. The shipping is $34. Wow!
Does anyone have a suggestion where else I might look?

Yes, a bit of sticker shock. I have buying mine through Sundance Art Glass Supply - unless on sale elsewhere their pricing is the best that I've found.

Aftosa.com carries one that holds a 4" square for less than $10.

If you need several, check with local blacksmiths and metal fabrication shops.

I agree with Cynthia, but to take it a step further. I have commissioned a student in our local technical college to make me things I've wanted; mailboxes, hooks, etc. Call the school, ask if they have a metals program and speak with the instructor to see if (s)he has a student to recommend. I have found students to be open to developing a product for their portfolio and it is a win-win.
Good luck.
