felt pen for signing fused work
I am wondering if anyone has come across a felt pen that can be permanent after firing. I am looking for an easy way to sign my fused glass. Using a diamond instrument is just too labor intensive.

Silver Sharpie won't burn off.

You can buy an electric/battery operated engraver pen that's much easier to use--if you rub a little Sharpie marker over the marks, you'll get a very legible, fine line that stays.
The metallic Sharpies will stay after firing, as Brad said. Dykem markers will, too. The only thing I don't like about them is that they make rather thick lines for smaller objects like jewelry, and I've had them flake a bit if they were on the outside of the glass where the piece saw lots of wear (as in jewelry). With a little advanced planning, though, you can overcome that.
