Is it possible to make a small bowl in a kiln washed mold by pressing glass powder "paste" into the inside surface and tack firing? It seems reasonable as that is a method used for making the "ice bowls" from tempered glass bits. There must be some cosmic force thing I don't recognize that dictates the use of a break away mold. I'm not trying for anything other than a simple little bowl.
Thanks

Thanks Kevin. I assume you're cautioning me to keep the temp. low enough to avoid a puddle at the bottom of the pot. I enjoyed revisiting the posts in the archives and was amused to find one of my own in that group.

Or you need to pack an inner shell holding the carefully placed powder in place.
