Hi - has anyone any advice on how to use this. I think it is supposed to create a rather interesting coloured burst bubble effect when used between 2 sheets of transparant glass. I ordered some and have received some plastic bags filled with a very fine coloured powder - rather like paint and I'm not sure what to do next!
Thanks
Linda

I haven't used this product yet either but have some called Bubble Powder. It's used w/paint on float glass to make a marble effect. The Bubble Powder was ordered from http://www.crestmolds.com (then you go to unique glass colors at this site (pic w/ the Unicorn), then go to http://www.firedartsclassroom.com, then click on the pic of seminar 1 & 2, you will see a sample of the Bubble Power). Or I guess you could just give them a call or email them there.

I first saw an example of what I think is this technique in Barcelona this summer and then discovered the powder in a catalogue from a Swiss Company who have just opened up in the U.K. their website is not very informative but they may be reached at http://www.creative-glass.com
I will give it a go this weekend and let you know what happens!
Best regards

Only very early results - I sprinkled 4 colours between 2 pieces of 3mm float glass and fired at 1400 because I was slumping another piece. The green and the blue produced some nice coloured blisters of varying sizes up to about 1cm in size, but nothing happened to the white and the yellow.
I refired the same piece at 1500 - with something else I was doing and it made absolutely no difference whatsoever- came out looking exatly as it went in.
The effect is really nice though, and I will continue 'testing'. I would like to try it with spectrum 96 as I could then add a coloured border to the transparant. Will keep you posted!
Best wishes
