I have just completed a new tutorial on the "Pattern Bar Flow Technique". Thought I would share it here. It is too much fun! We have just barely dented the surface on the fun possibilites of this technique and I am loving it!

Thank you for sharing the info, Laurie. I particularly like the design of the piece in the very last picture (love the color purple).

These pictures are just some starters learning the weights and fusing programs. It has opened my mind to lots and lots of new possibilities! I have had a HUGE email response today from customers that are so excited! Really fun! Soon I will have all the weights calculated to make it even easier! I will add more pictures to the tutorial on our site as they come out of the kilns. :D

Those are fun, and a lot of possibilities exist. I had a similar idea a few years back with some scrap pattern bar pieces, but never followed up--just left it sitting in the 'try it someday' pile.

Now I'll brush off the dust and go with the 'flow'.

Thanks for sharing, Laurie.

warm regards,

Eric

Here is a set of pattern bars that were made of old bullseye pattern bars that I was not crazy about. pic is of 4 sets of them after I had done the "flow" in one of our stainless steel rings. Having way to much fun here! This one sold right out of the slump still warm!

Beautiful, Laurie.

I ordered a new tile saw (MX-370exp) that should arrive early this next week. Can't wait to get cutting!
