Sticks and Stones.......

Prior to working in glass, I was fairly well-known as a "fine artist working in gourds." My pieces sold for $300 to $1200. Imagine my chagrin when I was approached to be a VENDOR at a show!!!!!!! So the two words that really get me are "crafter" and "vendor." Not quite ...

hi, it's 11" diameter.......and thanks! it really was one of those cool kiln surprises....funny how every piece since then has been fusing and slumping perfectly since that sacrifice to the kiln god! :)

Happy Accident!

Here's an example of a happy accident! The mold broke during the slumping (don't know why!) but the result is quite cool......any comments?
