Thanks for setting me straight Jackie. After I made that post I was looking around at some glass supplier links and saw some thin double-rolled glass and thought my assumption was wrong.

Gayle- I used double rolled standard sheet.

It's just thick glass, twice as thick as the thin sheets.

Thanks Gayle, mine have double rolled thick black backs. Then I put a mandrel with bead release (I have a lot from lampworking, same thing as kiln wash) on the thick black. Then I just put one or two layers of dichro down and that's it.

Thank you all for you input! After some more research I'm leaning towards a Paragon Fusion 10 or Fusion 8. Anybody have any experience with those?

Hi Denise, We appear to be neighbors. ;) I just started doing some art festivals here in town and have a white EZ UP tent. It's ok but nothing special. In my first show some of the other artists said they're known as "EZ UP, EZ BLOW AWAY". Ha ha. They told me some really good tents were th...

newbie question about C&R Loo brand kiln wash...

I bought some C&R Loo brand kiln wash about 4 or 5 months ago when I first wanted to try fusing. I've been too busy with my lampworking "job/career" to try until recently. I just started taking a fusing class with Michael McNerney but I've only had 1 class and we haven't gone over this...

kiln question and newbie introduction ;)

Greetings everybody, I'm new to this forum, I mostly do lampworking with borosilicate glass(you can see my work at the link in my signature) but I'm looking to start doing some fusing and slumping too. I got a great Paragon front loading top fire kiln but I use that to anneal my lampworked glass. I'...
