Backlighting Fused Glass Murals
Hi: I have two mural projects with a designer to be installed in two kitchen backsplash areas. The mural dimensions are 24" x 36" and 24" x 48". Each mural is comprised of three fused glass panels which I plan to laminate to single sheets of either tempered or plate glass (1/4&qu...

Silver leaf/foil
I have a project where my client wants silver leaf or foil fused between two layers of clear glass. They do not want any yellowing but prefer the silver color retained throughout. Questions, should I use silver leaf or silver foil? I use Bullseye Glass. Are my chances better if I use the Crystal Cle...

Thanks for the good feedback. So I am now leaning toward edge grip stand-offs and the Toggler anchors. Thanks again. Tom

Hanging Large Glass Panel
Hi: Just finished a colorful, abstract glass art panel 30" w x 42"h. It is basically 1/4" of fused glass panels (three) laminated to a single sheet of 1/4" plate glass so about 1/2" thick. I figure the total weight is somewhere around 65 pounds. I plan to mount to the wall (...

pendant light fixtures
Having a difficult time finding hardware for my fused glass pendant lights. Anyone know of some good sources? On the immediate project I am looking for a brushed nickel finish with a stem (verus just the cord). Stem length about 3' and three sections of 12" each is fine. I used to use the kits ...

Re: Bohle Silberschnitt running pliers
I find them very helpful when breaking out thin strips of 1/4" or less when working with 3mm glass.

Backlighting Wall Panel
Hi: Does anyone have any experience using LED panels (from Lightbeaminc for example) to backlight fused glass art panels? I created a panel 13" x 36" for a client and they will mount in a niche using standoffs. The niche area and my panel are on the dark side so certainly no pop without in...

Re: Installing Fused Glass Panels in Restaurant Bar
thanks for all the good advice. I have made my panels pretty tight to the space with maybe 1/8" all around. No chance for slipping something like dental floss behind to remove particularly with the cabinetry surrounding them. I don't think the owner envisions needing to change them out at some ...
