Realize that plaster/silica is not happy at any temps above 1400. 1675 is way above 1400. There are reasons people spend big bucks to cast with Gaffer glass or Schott. Hi. I did some experiment with enamel decals. The Medium has to be compatible with the covercoat. For screening enamel I use the polyester mesh 220 - 270. Brian Brian, One thing I did notice, even when I compacted this stuff and made a very simple pattern in it, the weight of the glass placed on top of the bentonite did eliminate much of the pattern.
