On My smaller MK it's at the rear on the side of the left hand side. Undo the bolt use a framing and true it up.

I think Slumpy's sell five pound bags of 96 frit but it is not Spectrum's, I think it's Carolina frit.

Rosanna, I happened to have a set of these bases and we were no longer using one. Often I find inexpensive bases at the Salvation Army, I also find great ceramic and stainless molds there.rosanna gusler wrote:way cool! where did you get the lamp base? r.

I'm not sure I am correct here but I think I remember reading somewhere lampworkers use charcoal in an electric kiln to get a reduction atmosphere. I believe it's hard on the coils.
