Re: refusing a bowl

I'm serious, it really did work. I don't have a small enough photo to post or I would. Of course there is a crack line but I don't mind that as it's a prototype for something else.

Re: refusing a bowl

FYI. I refired the bowl in the mold and went up 40 degrees. Worked like a charm.

Nice

Hi Chris, I liked seeing your work. You have such a variety. May I ask how you did the butterfly/birds with the black background and what looked like dichro as the image?

Are these pieces mostly jewelry or do you use them for other things as well?

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Ron

I appreciate your advice about photographing work. It really helped to see the photos of how you set it up from your website. Us visual types really learn more that way!

plaster molds

I have a question....I want to make small plaster molds to make some scarabs in. I've never done this before and wondered if anyone could offer an helpful hints or advice.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I've tried the hair dryer method, too, but found a method that works even better. Of course, you have to be careful laying the pieces of glass on top of it but this is the easiest method I've found. Instead of mixing the shelf primer with water and brushing or spraying on, I use a seive and spri...
