I have been reading the "At My Wits End" series of emails and as someone fairly new to the world of warm glass, I have a very basic (and perhaps stupid) question.
What exactly is a pot melt?

Thanks for your help.

Hey Bob, stack a bunch of cut pieces of glass in a garden variety ceramic (terra-cotta) pot, (widen/shape the drain hole) elevated over a shelf. The glass melts and pours out in a stream, slowly forming a pancake. Brock

Thanks for the advice. Now I know what to do with all the broken glass I've been collecting.
