spectrum frit

Post by Mitcheal »

Morning all, I've been looking for where to buy system96 frit in quanities larger than the 8.5 oz bottles. I know that Spectrum say's that they sell it in 4 pound bottles but I haven't been able to find a supplier for it in that size.

Does anybody know where I can find it in the larger quanities?

I am wanting to try some kiln sculpted flat pieces with the spectrum frit. I've done them before with Bullseye, but over time I've moved more and more towards a 96 shop. Any gotcha's on spectrum frit that anyone cares to share?

Thanks,
Mitcheal

Hi Mitcheal:

I have always been able to special order items from my distributors. Currently I buy from Ed Hoy and Lincoln Distributors (Tempe, AZ).

Uroboros actually makes the 96 frit. So, if all else fails, call them and they can tell you who carries their 4 lb frit.
