20 mule team borax

Is the 20 mule team borax you buy at the grocery store in the laundry detergent isle the same borax that the ceramics place sells?
Is there other additives in this? Is this ok for spray for glass to prevent devit?

My ceramics place sells borax for $3 per pound. The grocery store sells 4 pounds of 20 mule team borax for 3 bux.

what gives?
