I have a bunch of copper bowls and plates left over from copper enameling... can they be used for slumping??

Copper will develop a heavy layer of black oxide if heated in the kiln to slumping temps. Even with a coat of kiln wash they won't work.

If you like some of the shapes you could make a ceramic clay mold of the shape.
