Sorry for nagging so much about my melts. On the one hand they excite me, very much, OTOH - there are 'growing up ' problems.

I noticed , that there was a lot of black debris in the kiln after the would be ' piece' was done . I liked it a lot, but I was wondering where did all this debris come from??
I think that it has to be from the still. Can you comment on this? I believe I am using Stainless steell 304.
CaN in be cleaned after the firing? How?
Than, a second problem popped up - few hours later, I was away from the glass, came back to take photos on my new Iphone - and to my shock

Gevald!!!
I do not know how did they come. I annealed the piece 90 minutes, all the glass is BE....
WHY DID THIS HAPPEN???
I am afraid you will tell me that it is from the steell -because this means that it is incorregible....
I put it real quick to the kiln to re-fire and maybe save it. But if it is the steell - then i am lost...
I am sorry that I can't post photos of the cracks, because it is back in the kiln now, I was so afraid that it will break completely.
I'd be so greatful for comments , feedback, experience , etc.
The cracks are on the left side, kind of circly, about 1" long each.
