dichroic COE82

Remember that float glass is a commodity whose manufacturers care nothing about fusing compatibility.  Even published COE numbers are an average. If you want truly compatible float dichroic, have it coated with your own base glass.
Here is a link for Schott in the USA. I imagine they have an Aussie site as well. This glass is inexpensive enough that it is used for large expanses of building facades.

Also remember that dichro pops best when backed with black. You can supply the black with vitreous onglaze colors.

You could try using dichro slide papers.  They work, but I've found the dichroic coating can look washed out on some floats.

You can send your own float glass to CBS and they will coat it for you. This way you can make sure the glass is from the same source and it will be compatable.  *Not so easy or economical from Australia.

Try casting broken tempered low E glass.  You have to use plenty of heat to get it to stick to itself.
