fusing float glass side by side

Post by bothofushk »

Hi all,,I have cut float glass into hearts using a tutorial I saw on youtube by Dee...that is one half to heart then the other half...I am wanting to fuse this BEFORE I sprinkle enamel on..have used magic tape to hold 2 pieces together,,,will this work?? will it fuse or pull apart?..have thought about putting a piece of float glass down the middle, put didnt think to use the same piece as I was cutting.. so this is just a crap shoot...just wondering if anyone has done the same..Thanks

if it is just 3mm float no it will not work. if it is 6mm float it will still probably not work. . i would lap one over the pther and then fuse. rosanna
