dalle de verre - Wiesenthalhütte

Post by LisaDC »

Hello,
I've recently acquired a lot of Wiesenthalhütte dalle de verre. They aren't produced anymore... and are really gorgeous.
Anybody interested in them, or know someone who might be?
thanks,
Lisa

464 dalles is a lot of inventory for a studio to use.
Reminds me of a story of an abandoned/mothballed for a century plus dalle de verre factory a friend of mine discovered in Europe. Everything was there and ready to be restarted at any time.
Start making castings!

Can you post some pictures, and possibly a small inventory of colors/types?

Thanks

follow the links on her website page and they are all there colours and everything.
The catch is the price for north americans.
By definition they are not light weight for shipping and i'm guessing because I don't have the page up anymore that an average of 25 Euros a piece will add up rapidly.

Link to pdf here (4 pages): http://peliglass.eu/blog/pdf/glasaanbieding_dalle.pdf
Most colors, except the selenium, are €12.50/dalle ($13.25/dalle). The two selenium colors are €25/dalle ($26.50/dalle)
The prices that I've seen here in Europe for dalles are at least twice that.

Yup, transport. eeeck. I'd have to check specifics - it depends on the destination, weight/dimensions of the shipment, and is it by airplane or ship. More is better to ship as the price then becomes more interesting per dalle.
Say transport added $6/dalle to the cost, the final cost is still under $20/dalle.

For the aficionado, there's also a sale on Lamberts glass: http://peliglass.eu/saintjustglas/

The dollar is rising in relation to euros everyday so these are getting cheaper by the day
