I'm hooking up my oxygen propane torch again after a ten year break and need to replace my old didymium glasses. I have no idea which number
I need to get, I believe they come in 1, 2, 3 strengths. All my books on the subject are ancient, I'd like more up to date information. Googling for the answer just got me tons of ads for glasses. Anyone out there do any beadmaking for recommendations? Thanks!

depends if you are working soft glass or boro. Boro is much harder on your eyes than soft glass. the size of items you are working on I think has an effect on your eyes as well. Philips and Aura are 2 good manufacturers of these glasses, call and talk to them. They'll have some things to recommend.

Thanks! I am using soft glass, making relatively small objects.

Lampworketc.com is a great forum for beadmakers, you'll find posts about didys in the safety section
