The reason the picture won't show in your message is that Webshots doesn't allow image references to their site. They make their money on ads that don't get shown if people to go to their site.
PBase.com is a good site for photo hosting. Its about $20 a year but they he gives you a ton of space and allows embedding your photos elsewhere on the web.
