What is a good mesh size for evenly sifting bullseye powder frits?
Has anyone used non traditional sifters with good results?

I use the three small sifters shown at the top of this page on Thompson Enamels site. These sifters are plastic with metal mesh and wire handles.

They are 40 mesh and all BE powders will go through them and they don't drip powder. You have to tap gently to get the powders to feed.

Running your finger nails up and down the twisted wire handles works well to get the frits to come out.

Was looking at this site to see the sifters. They also offer screens and screen materials in a variety of "mesh sizes" for separating frit sizes. Is there a conversion chart somewhere that gives the opening size in these meshes in either inches or metric measurements? It would be useful to know which to order for separating homemade frit.
Thanks.
