I have a friend who is extremely eager to learn glass fusing. She lives
in the Atlanta area and cannot find classes there.

Can anyone help me find her a teacher?

The Spurill Arts Center offers beginning fusing classes. They are good basic classes and are not expensive.

I buy most of my glass from John's Stained Glass in Duluth, GA. It's a northeast suburb of Atlanta and he also offers classes in fusing.

There is a glass store in Winder which is NE of Atlanta. I can't for the life of me think of the name of the shop right now but he has a ton of warm glass supplies and kilns for sale. I think he also has classes. His name is Ray.

I'm teaching now in Atlanta, thoug I'm pretty new to it. I teach downtown at a place called Studio C. We are talking about a beginner's class soon, though nothing is nailed down yet. It may be an eight week -- two hours, one night a week schedule, or it may be a weekend seminar. The number is 404-223-6447.

John at John's Stained Glass has been teaching forever. He used to teach at Spruill but I'm not sure if he still does.

Davens Ceramic Supply is also taching fusing now. They're in the book.
