Recently I did a High temp fire (1700 deg.) I thought all was well, but my piece broke up into several pieces. I figured out what went wrong with my schedule, but before I try again, I just wanted to check one more thing:
Is there any problem with using kiln wash with a high temp fire? I think my glass also stuck to the shelf, contributing to my problem, and I'm hoping it's just a case of a poorly prepped shelf.
Many thanks for the help!

Absolutely not. Put on several (many) coats and go for it. Brock
