I finally completed a bowl that fused and slumped correctly. Certainly not overly complex and to the skill level I someday strive to achieve but I was happy with it. It named it "Family Ties" as it was to symbolize my families connections to each other-some near, some far and yes some not quite connected.
Anyway I would certainly welcome and comments or advice anyone could share. I have learned so much by reading this site and thanks to you all.

I like your use of color, and more importantly, I like the concept you've illustrated. I prefer work that has meaning and makes you think a little. You're on the right track, keep it up!

Hey I like it. I like these use of the color and idea as well. If that is your first bowl then you should feel really good. Do you have any close ups?
