Cookie Molds

Post by Sandra »

Hi, I was wondering if anyone ever tried to use those stoneware cookie molds as glass molds? I was going to coat it with a heavey coat of kiln wash and then fill with frit. Would the mold stand up to the heat? I was just wondering because I have an awesome mold that would be a great ornament.

Thank you,

Sandra

should be ok. just go slow through quartz inversion. i think that is around 1130f. stoneware is pretty tough and has already been fired to 2000+f. rosanna
