What kind of glass is it, and what kind of result are you looking for?

You can fire polish to a matte finish or to a high sheen. The higher the temp range, the glossier the polish.

I ecthed a scene unto a piece of gold irid circle broke the circle to add some Translucent glass which got some divit on it when I fused it so I'm going to sand blast it then fire polish the piece so it looks good again.
But I have never done a fire polish and need to know how to set the fire schudule for it?

Well, as Cynthia intimated, it varies from glass to glass, and even within a type of glass, different colors fire polish at different temps/times. Just heat your blank up at a rate that will not thermal shock it, and actually look at the piece, under heat. You can see it fire polish. It'll be approx. 1350+ for S96 and Bullseye. Brock
