Yo All,

I live in Caaanada and my kiln is in the garage, im wantin to exp. on the Irr spray thingy but have to ventillation in there (just the garage door). Would anyone suggest me not to do this (spray while kiln is fusing), you know with the corrosive mist floating around? Is my kiln at risk of any damage from this pychadelic spray(Irr Spray) being exposed on the firebrick or elements? Could I cover the sides of the kiln with Thin fire or fiber blanket? I just want to try this out, any suggestions on Stencil(s) to experiment with?

Thanks Tyler

It is my understanding that you should be more concerned with you than your kiln when doing this. I have heard that it can drop you in a second. Be VARY careful and do much research before tring this. You might want to ask over on craftweb to get more information.

Don't do it.

Good ventilation is essential. When I do this, I put the kiln outdoors and wear a respirator. It's not the kiln you have to worry about, it's you and your health.

i thought you had to worry about your health and the earth's ozone layer being damaged. Not nice stuff. Kevin
