Happy New Year!

I want to drop a 20" X 3/4" float diameter as deep as it will go. My interior diameter is 14".

I have dropped one 8".

Just wondering if anyone has pushed it to the limits and what their top temp was.

Thanks.

Sheryl

Try googling Stephen Schlanser. He drops float a few feet. Lot of cold work on the top after. You'll have to keep an eye on it, and freeze it when it looks good, and experiment with the temps.

Good call. Schlanzer has figured it out. He has the firing schedule and mold thing figured out in his kilns. You can do it also.
