Newby; should I buy a used Paragon A99B? Advice please

Post by Gordon Exon »

I have an opportunity to purchase an older but supposedly rarely used Paragon A99B. Interior size 23x27"..It has a model timer "LT4"
I intend to use the kiln for glass forming and I would like some advice.
Can I retrofit a bartlett controller?
Would the Kiln be appropriate for glass assuming I want to do tall drops and slumps? Any negative thoughts about the model?
Finally how much should I pay?
