I took a lovely class at Vegas this year on making slip-casting molds. Now I find myself in a city with a pottery supply store but I don't have my notes. Does anyone know what kind of slip I need? Porcelain?

i would use white lowfire (c 05-06) paper clay slip (p-slip) as first choice. otherwise any white lowfirw clay. i see no need to pay more for porcelain. rosanna

Tru dat, Rosanna. I've heard of people using Raku clay - that the grog makes a more sturdy mold, but I've used low fire clay for my molds.
