Does anyone have the Craig Mitchell smith floral former from delphi? The video states each petal is 6 inches. When placing the petals in the kiln, they don't fit. My kiln is a skutt hot start. Can the petals be made smaller? Will they still fit the mold? Does anyone know of someone who rents kiln space with larger oval kiln where I could fire larger pieces? I'm so frustrated!!!!
Want a larger kiln but not in the wallet plans at the moment.

Lots of people rent kiln space. If you tell us where you live we can try to suggest someone for you.

If the glass won't fit in the kiln, will the mold fit in the kiln?
In general, you can put smaller pieces of glass in molds with successful results.

Try these places, don't know if they rent kiln time, but it's worth asking:
Augustana College

Tel: 309-794-7157
Hollander Fusing Center Chicago

Talisman Glass

You might also ask Ed Hoy's in Warrenville, IL if they know of other possibilities.
