FIRING BLACK AND OTHER BRIGHT COLORS

Hello again,
This post relates to my previous one titled "to fuse or not to fuse" - you can find there a photo of my problem....
I am planning to fire "a sheet" of strip fused glass in bright colors - most of them opaque, white, yellow, pink etc.
And BLACK.
How do I operate in this scale, I have learnt here, that black [transparent black - BE 1129 - but very dark] heats up quickly.
I see a danger of thermal shock, or do'nt know what other problems should develop from these cotrasting colors.

Beside working quite slow and low, I think there might be other precautions that I should consider. How low? how slow??

Can you help me with this?

I shall be very grateful for your imput, your invalueable imput,
as always,
many thanks,

Havi
