Deborah:
Very difficult! We (my hubby and I) are pricing health insurance. My husband wants to take early retirement - which means the health insurance through his company will cost us more - I have contacted several companies to find something similiar - so far only one company and that was I believe Blue Cross/Blue Shield - which they have a concern because my husband has to take medicine for glaucoma.

As i get result from other companies, I'll be happy to share with you.

I believe the monthly fee for BC/BS for what we wanted was around $500 a month.

I just switched to a Florida company for my health insurance. It was about 1/2 of Bc/BS, You might ry these people, Life of The South, Health Insurance, 100 Wset Bay St., Jacksonville, Fl. 32232, 904-350-9660, or 800-661-6385. They should have an agent somewhere close to you. I just had a few existing conditions, like arthritis that were not included. and I'm 57, so they do look at us older folk. Tenn.
