Can anyone please tell me where I can buy Gelflex mold material in the US or Canada? Thanks.

Ed Hoy carries it in smaller quantities. I suspect others do as well.

You can also get larger amounts (or get free samples) from the manufacturer, ACC Silicones: http://www.acc-silicones.com/products/m ... ubber.ashx

Do you need Gelflex specifically or will any meltable mold material do? I use Elastack, a clear PVC that does pretty much the same thing. Compleat Sculptor sells it, and probably a couple other places.

There's another one, Instamorph, that looks promising, but I haven't played with it yet. And Vinamold, which is used for museum conservation, is sold by a couple of eBay dealers, although you still must ship from the UK.

I know Milon Townsend has been selling Gelflex too.

He also has a great book and DVD on kiln casting
