I am working out a big project consisting of fused panels 9" or 12" square that will be hanging in a larger frame.

I need to hang each panel individually & they need to be removable.

I was thinking of fusing a mandrel at the top of each panel with about an inch sticking out on each end or just drilling a hole in the top corners of each panel. The frame hasn't been designed yet so I can be pretty flexible at this point on what I choose.
I was hoping on some advice. Pros? Cons? Prawns?

(I would really appreciate your imput.)

i can think of a few easy ways.

eye hooks on the inside top of each frame. loops of nichrome in matching places on the glass portion.

mandrel through the top between glass layers. diagonal slot on the back of each side frame that only goes half way from front to back.

drill holes in each glass panel. hang from wire or heavy fishing line.
