The right torch for bullseye rods
I tried to make little leaves using bullseye rods. I used a dual-fuel torch (oxygen and propane), but the glass colors changed and the clear glass rod turned greyish. Is a single fuel torch better with soft glass ?

Dual is required, but it must be surface mix, not premix. I've been using a Nortel minor for many years and now have switched to a Bethlehem Alpha, You also have to have your flame adjusted correctly and work way out in the end of the flame.

Main thing is to use the proper gas mix, and work way out in the flame.
