Spray mold one day - fire on the next day?
If I use the Boron spray on a mold on Saturday, am I able to delay the firing until Sunday? It would take me most of Saturday to get the project ready for firing and then firing may take 8-10 hours (I dont have an automated control box so its all manual from a kiln purchased 25 years ago.)

I don't use Boron because once you do, you cannot go back to much cheaper kiln wash.
If Boron is supposed to last through multiple firings, and it is just like kiln wash as a separator, delay will not be an issue.
Now leaving a coated mold around for weeks in a dusty study may change your results.

you can fire anytime after the boron dries, I usually wait about an hour or so after spraying. as for not being able to use kiln wash after using boron. that's not really true. you just need to scrub all boron off the mold. not really a big deal. I use boron on molds with fine details or stainless steel because my kilnwash doesn't adhere as well.
