Flexi Glass Medium or other

Happy new year!....finally
I have a question concerning alternatives to Flexi Glass as a medium. I like and use Flexi Glass sporadically depending on what kind of projects I am working on. It is a great product with the only downsides for me are that it does stink up the shop when burning out and the other being cost. I usually just burn it out overnight when I am out of the shop so it is not a big issue. Cost wise it is a bit spendy. For small projects I don't mind but for large projects it gets a bit hard on the pocketbook.
I would appreciate any input from others as to a possible alternative they have used?
Thx, Thomas
