home made glass globs.

Post by linda s »

Thankyou for so much info on the previous thread. So if I make my own ... Hows this sound? Strip cut 1/2" squares, knock off the corners slightly with the grinder, stack it 4 layers high and fuse. We should petition bullseye to make globs. Thanks :P

I imagine there a zillion techniques for making globs. Mine are generally only 2-3 layers thick. I tend to go slightly smaller than 1/2 inch and I don't bother to knock of any corners. Just stack (a little glue) an dfire away. I take mine up higher than any other firings to make them round off. I do them in my hot box vs big kiln and they go up to around 1650.

Good luck.
