re-fuse?
http://webpages.charter.net/warmglass/M ... age15.html
Smashed to smithereens, can this be saved?
What we have here is one layer of thin be amber
cathedral first layer. Second layer is wasser
thin white opaque, patterened with be flowers
and stringers.
Fused successfully, put it on top of floral
former to make vase, was in less than 1 hour
and I would presume thermal shocked. Fell all
over the kiln floor.
Anyways, I've tried repair jobs like this
before and wouldn't give this another thought,
(..it belongs to by student
and he's worked so hard, I feel bad...)
but I've read here a few people mention that
they would fuse it again to fix it.
Can that be done? How? I can't visualize the
white "rejoining". Glue? Add layers? Would
it still be a candidate for a handherchief
vase? Can all of the kings horses and all the
kings men put humpty dumpty back together
again????
hellllpppp
