Remove imperfections on fused piece

Have fired a tray and it has several spots resembling water spots or devit. Can these be sanded and then refired? Or polished out? Thx, Jack

I have not had enough occasions to be sure that this works every time, but have had refiring with Super Spray overglaze remove the white outline of water spots and/or light hazing on the glass surface. Jerry

sandblast and refire. If you are using thinfire, don't.
