Advanced Murrini Making with the Vitrigraph Kiln

Now that you’ve tried your hand a murrini making, you’re probably itching to try something more complicated than concentric circles and simple shapes.
This workshop starts where the basic one ends. We’ll learn to make more elaborate shapes and designs, including lettering, silhouettes, and much more.
We’ll spend most of our time learning how to create the designs that will be loaded into our pots to be pulled. Many designs will require pre-firing before they can be pulled, so after two days of creating designs you’ll be free to return for a third day of your choosing to actually pull the murrini.
Familiarity with basic vitrigraph kiln techniques is required! All materials provided.

Registration must be made prior to the start of all courses. A deposit of one half the course tuition must be paid at the time of registration, with the balance due thirty days prior to the beginning of the course. No space can be held without payment, and spaces will be held on a first-come, first-saved basis.
Once registered, you will receive a written confirmation. You will also be notified of tools required for the course and given any other relevant information. Please notify us if you do not hear from us by one week prior to the class.

Cancellation policy: A full refund, less a $25 processing fee, will be made if you cancel more than 30 days prior to the course. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the course, a refund (less processing fee) will be made ONLY if we are able to fill your space. On the rare occasion that we need to cancel a course, we will refund all fees paid. We will make every attempt to notify you of cancellation more than one week prior to the course.
