Curious about drop formed bowls and vases?
We’ll cover all the basics, from creating the blank, to watching the drop, to coldworking, and more.
On day 1, we’ll create the blank for the drop and also make a custom drop ring mold.
On day 2, we’ll focus on the drop firing itself. You’ll get to choose from several options on the drop distance and size of the top of the vase.
On the third day we’ll coldwork and finish your piece.
Familiarity with glass cutting and with basic fusing and slumping techniques is highly recommended.

Registration must be made prior to the start of all courses. A deposit of one half the course tuition must be paid at the time of registration, with the balance due thirty days prior to the beginning of the course. No space can be held without payment, and spaces will be held on a first-come, first-saved basis.
Once registered, you will receive a written confirmation. You will also be notified of tools required for the course and given any other relevant information. Please notify us if you do not hear from us by one week prior to the class.

Cancellation policy: A full refund, less a $25 processing fee, will be made if you cancel more than 30 days prior to the course. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the course, a refund (less processing fee) will be made ONLY if we are able to fill your space. On the rare occasion that we need to cancel a course, we will refund all fees paid. We will make every attempt to notify you of cancellation more than one week prior to the course.
