Warm Tip: What’s the difference?
Can you tell the difference between these two tiles?
Look closely….
Look closely….
The tile on the left has a layer of clear on the bottom while the tile on the right has a layer of clear on top.
Fusing with clear glass on the bottom is great for allowing bubbles to escape easily however it usually leaves the edges of the glass uneven after firing.
Fusing with clear glass on top can show bubbles but the weight of the clear glass allows for more even edges after firing.
Which way is the best way you ask? Now that is up to you to decide! 😃
